What it does

Contains Studio Agents is a set of Claude Code subagents modelled on the departments of a small app studio that ships in six-day sprints. Rather than focusing only on code, it gives a solo builder or tiny team stand-ins for engineering, design, marketing, product, project management, operations and testing roles.

What is inside / how it works

The repository holds around 37 agents in department folders. Engineering includes a rapid prototyper, frontend developer, backend architect, mobile app builder, AI engineer, DevOps automator and a test writer that fixes failing tests. Design covers a UI designer, UX researcher, brand guardian and a "whimsy injector" for small moments of delight. Marketing has an app store optimiser, growth hacker, content creator and platform-specific agents for TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and X. Product agents synthesise feedback, prioritise sprints and research trends, while operations agents handle analytics, finance tracking, support replies and legal checks. Each file has YAML front matter with a name, a description with usage examples, a colour and allowed tools, followed by a long system prompt. Some agents, such as the test writer and the studio coach, are written to trigger proactively after certain kinds of change.

Built for Claude Code's subagent system; agents load from ~/.claude/agents/. No other coding agents are documented.

How to install or start

Clone the repo, copy the agents into your Claude Code agents directory and restart Claude Code:

After that, describe a task and Claude picks the matching agent, or name one explicitly.

Free to download from GitHub. The repository does not declare an open-source licence, so check with the authors before redistributing modified copies.

Who should use it

Indie developers and very small teams who want help beyond coding, especially with launch marketing and product decisions. The repository has not been updated since July 2025, so some agent instructions may lag behind current Claude Code features, and the marketing agents are opinionated about growth tactics.
