What is cc-haha?
What it does
cc-haha is a local-first, cross-platform desktop application (Electron) that wraps Claude Code and other AI coding agents in a workspace UI, so you can run multiple agent sessions, review their changes, and manage git branches without living entirely in a terminal.
What is inside
- Multi-session workspaces with global search across past sessions
- Git branch and worktree launching, so parallel agent tasks don't collide on the same checkout
- File-by-file review of edits with syntax-highlighted diffs before you accept them
- An embedded browser for previewing web app changes in place
- Visual tools: an MCP server manager, a SubAgent creator, and an Agent Teams workbench
- A skill marketplace, scheduled tasks, and chat-app integrations (Telegram, Feishu, WeChat, DingTalk, WhatsApp, WeCom, QQ, Slack)
Works with
Supports multiple model backends and providers — Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, local endpoints, and custom presets — alongside its Claude Code-centric workflows.
Pricing
cc-haha itself is free and open source (MIT), with no license fee for the desktop app. Because it's a wrapper around other agents and model providers rather than a model host, your real cost is whatever you already pay for those: a Claude subscription or API key, ChatGPT/Codex access, Grok, or the compute for a self-hosted local model.
How to install or connect
Downloads are published on the project's GitHub Releases page; macOS builds are signed and notarized, while unsigned installers on other platforms may need manual approval to run.
Maintenance and safety
MIT licensed, built with TypeScript, Electron, React, Vite and Bun. With roughly 14.7k stars, 8.6k forks, over 2,000 commits, 136 open issues and 59 open pull requests, it shows real, ongoing community engagement rather than a one-off drop. As with any desktop app that connects to many chat platforms and runs local agents with file/git access, review what permissions and integrations you enable, especially the third-party chat-bot connections, before pointing it at anything sensitive.
Who should use it
Developers who want a single desktop hub for running several coding agents side by side, reviewing diffs carefully before accepting them, and coordinating work across git worktrees, rather than juggling multiple terminal windows and manual git commands by hand. The chat-app integrations suit anyone who wants to kick off or monitor agent tasks from Telegram, Slack or a similar app they already use.

Cons
- Many third-party chat integrations (Telegram, WeChat, etc.) widen the permissions/attack surface to review
