What it does

Build with Claude is a Claude Code plugin marketplace with a companion website at buildwithclaude.com. The repository holds a large set of subagents, slash commands, hooks and skills, grouped into plugins by topic. You can install one plugin at a time or pull in everything of one type at once. The website does two jobs. You can browse and search what the repository offers, and it also indexes community plugins, MCP servers and other marketplaces from the wider Claude Code ecosystem. That makes it both an install source and a discovery tool.

What is inside

• Agents: language specialists (Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript), plus architecture, DevOps, data, security review and debugging roles
• Commands: slash commands for commits, pull requests, docs, TDD, code analysis and project tracking
• Hooks: notifications to Slack, Discord or Telegram, git helpers, lint and format on save, and file protection
• Skills and bundles: reusable capabilities, packaged as category plugins and "all-agents", "all-commands" and "all-hooks" bundles

Each agent is a Markdown file with frontmatter for its name, description and allowed tools, so you can read or edit it before you use it.

Works with

The plugins are built for Claude Code. The Markdown agents and commands can be copied into ~/.claude/ by hand if you do not use the plugin system.

Maintenance and safety

The repository is MIT-licensed and updated often, and contributions are checked by a test script before they are merged. The collection is large and written by many contributors, so quality varies from one agent to the next. Some entries, such as the crypto trading agents, are only loosely related to everyday coding. Read hooks before you enable them, because they run commands automatically on tool and session events.

Who should use it

It suits Claude Code users who want a big menu of ready-made subagents and commands, and a single place to look for community plugins. If you want a small, tightly reviewed set, pick individual plugins rather than the bundles.
