About Claude Codex Settings
What it does
Claude Codex Settings, maintained by Fatih Cagatay Akyon, is a plugin marketplace of skills, hooks, subagents, commands and MCP configurations for AI coding tools. It began as a personal setup and is now split into many small plugins, so you install only the pieces you want instead of copying a whole configuration folder. A shared CLAUDE.md with agent guidance is also provided and can be symlinked as AGENTS.md or GEMINI.md.
What is inside
The plugins cover a wide range. simplify brings a four-angle diff review to Codex, Cursor and Gemini, with an optional pre-commit guard hook. humanize blocks stock AI phrasing through a write hook. codex-advisor and a Claude advisor ask a second model to challenge a plan. Other plugins bundle official skill packs from Anthropic, OpenAI, React, Stripe, MongoDB and Supabase, plus tooling for Cloudflare, Hetzner, Dokploy, Azure and Google Cloud MCP servers, web performance audits, GitHub workflow agents and telemetry hooks. A configuration section documents how to point Claude Code at alternative model APIs such as GLM, Kimi and MiniMax.

Maintenance and safety
Apache-2.0 and updated almost daily. Several plugins install hooks that run Python on every write or commit, and some bundle third-party skills, so read each plugin before enabling it. The breadth means quality varies between plugins, and a few are tied to the author's own projects.
Who should use it
Developers who run more than one coding agent and want the same review, writing and deployment helpers in each. Pick two or three plugins that match your stack rather than installing everything.
Pros
- Install only the plugins you need instead of a whole config
- Same review and writing helpers across Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Cursor
- Updated very frequently
Cons
- Quality and relevance vary across a very broad plugin list
- Several plugins install hooks that run on every write or commit
