About Pro Workflow
What it does
Pro Workflow is a Claude Code plugin by Rohit Ghumare that gives your sessions a memory. It puts one local SQLite store underneath every session. When you correct Claude, the correction can be saved as a rule and loaded again at the start of every later session, so the same mistake is less likely to come back. On top of that sit persistent research wikis indexed for full-text search. Relevant pages are added to your prompts automatically when you mention a topic they cover, and an optional research loop can grow them within a spending cap.
What is inside
- 41 skills, including
learn-rule,wrap-up,session-handoff,smart-commit,deslop,parallel-worktrees,orchestrate,context-engineering,cost-tracker,mcp-auditandpermission-tuner - Knowledge tools:
wiki-builder,wiki-query,wiki-research-loop,llm-council(a discussion across several model providers),survey-generatorand an HTML wiki viewer - 8 agents: planner, reviewer, scout, orchestrator, debugger, context-engineer, permission-analyst and cost-analyst
- 23 commands, such as
/develop,/wiki,/doctor,/insightsand/parallel - 37 hook scripts across 24 events, including git and secret guards and state saving before context compaction
Works with
Claude Code gets the full plugin. The skills and commands also install through npx skills add into Cursor, Codex, Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Factory Droid, Amp, Cline, Goose and other skills-compatible agents. Those agents do not get the hooks.

Maintenance and safety
package.json and the README badge say MIT, but the repository has no LICENSE file. The project is maintained by one author and was last updated in late August 2026. It runs many hooks on every session, keeps a local database and may need a Node build step (/doctor checks for it). The research loop, embeddings and model council call external APIs with your keys and can cost money, although they are opt-in and capped. touch ~/.pro-workflow/STOP stops any automatic loop.
Who should use it
Heavy Claude Code users who are tired of repeating the same corrections and want memory, quality gates and cost visibility in one bundle.
Pros
- Corrections persist as rules across sessions
- Full-text research wikis auto-injected when relevant
- Cost, context and permission tooling in one bundle
Cons
- Heavy: dozens of hooks and a local database, may need a build step
- No LICENSE file in the repo despite MIT in package.json; single maintainer
