How to install or connect

Requires Python 3.8+ and the uv package manager:

brew install uv

Then configure your MCP client, for example Claude Desktop:

Install the Ableton Remote Script and select it as a control surface:

Then in Ableton: Settings/Preferences → Link, Tempo & MIDI → select "AbletonMCP" as the control surface.
