What it does

Awesome Claude Code, curated by hesreallyhim, is one of the best-known reading lists for Claude Code. It collects guides, skills, agents, plugins, hooks, status lines and tools, each with a short editorial note explaining why it is on the list. It is a discovery resource, not something you install. Many entries also show badges for their creation date, last commit and licence, which makes it easy to spot abandoned projects.

What is inside

The current edition was rebuilt to feature newer projects. Older entries are kept in a separate archive folder while they are reviewed. Sections include:

• Start here and From Anthropic: primers, official guides and Anthropic's own resources
• Documentation and learning: including Obsidian-related tools
• Agent orchestration: multi-agent runners, Ralph Wiggum style loops and dynamic workflows
• Skills, memory and context persistence
• Observability: session monitors, usage and cost trackers
• Status lines, alternative clients, remote control and voice
• Security, infrastructure and DevOps, testing and linting
• Design, writing and creative media

The list is about Claude Code. Some linked projects also support other agents, so check each one's README.

How to install

There is nothing to install. Read the list on GitHub and follow the links. To suggest a resource, use the issue form described in the contributing guide. Resources must be at least 14 days old and actively developed, or already widely starred.

Maintenance and safety

Very actively maintained, with changes landing almost daily. The list is licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0. That allows sharing with credit, but not commercial reuse or modified copies without the maintainer's permission. The curator says the list values code quality, security and originality. Even so, the linked projects are third-party code, and hooks and plugins in particular can run commands on your machine, so review them before installing.

Who should use it

Claude Code users at any level who want a trusted, opinionated shortlist of tools and guides instead of searching GitHub. It works best as a regular reading source to check for new additions.
