About Claude Skills (alirezarezvani)

What it does

Claude Skills, by Alireza Rezvani, is one of the largest single-author skill libraries. It packages several hundred skills, over a hundred agents, personas and slash commands as Claude Code plugins. Conversion scripts turn the same content into the native formats of other coding tools. Many skills include Python helper scripts that use only the standard library, so there is nothing to install with pip.

What is inside

At the time of writing the README counts 388 skills across 20 domains. Only part of it is about software:

  • Engineering (core and "POWERFUL" tiers): architecture, frontend, backend, DevOps, Playwright testing, database and migration design, CI/CD builders, an MCP server builder, a PR review expert, dependency and secrets auditing, observability and incident response.
  • Product and project management: product management, UX research, Jira and Confluence.
  • Business: marketing, SEO, C-level advisory personas, finance, compliance (ISO, MDR, SOC 2, GDPR), research and productivity.
  • Personas: for example Startup CTO or Solo Founder, plus an orchestration guide for chaining personas and skills.
  • A skill security auditor: scans a skill folder for command injection, data exfiltration and prompt injection before you install it.

Works with

The README lists Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Aider, Windsurf, Kilo Code, OpenCode, Augment, Antigravity, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent and Mistral Vibe. Some of these use converted rule files rather than native skills.

How to install

In Claude Code, add the marketplace and then install a domain bundle:

/plugin marketplace add alirezarezvani/claude-skills
/plugin install engineering-skills@claude-code-skills

For Codex:

npx agent-skills-cli add alirezarezvani/claude-skills --agent codex

Maintenance and safety

MIT licensed and updated regularly. The last change at the time of writing was in late August 2026. Hundreds of Python scripts ship with the skills, and the OpenClaw path pipes a remote script into bash. Install only the bundles you need, and run the included auditor or read the scripts first. Counts in the README differ between sections, which suggests the library changes quickly.

Who should use it

Developers and founders who want a broad catalogue in one place, especially the engineering bundles. If you only want coding skills, install the engineering plugins and skip the business domains.

skill-library plugins devops personas multi-agent-tools

Pros

  • Very broad catalogue with stdlib-only Python helper scripts
  • Converters for many agents' native formats
  • Built-in skill security auditor

Cons

  • Large share of non-coding content (marketing, C-suite, compliance)
  • Hundreds of bundled scripts and a curl-to-bash path need review
