About Awesome Agent Skills (VoltAgent)

What it does

Awesome Agent Skills, maintained by the VoltAgent team with community contributors, is a curated list of Agent Skills. It favours skills published by the engineering teams behind real products over mass-generated skill dumps. It is a discovery resource, not a package: each entry links to a skill that lives in someone else's repository, often through the companion site officialskills.sh.

What is inside

The list counts well over a thousand entries, grouped mainly by publisher:

  • Official skills from vendors and projects: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (Gemini, Labs, Cloud, Firebase), Microsoft, Vercel, Cloudflare, Netlify, Supabase, Neon, Stripe, Sentry, Figma, Hugging Face, Trail of Bits, HashiCorp, Expo, Flutter, MongoDB, Redis and many more
  • Language sections: .NET, Java, Python, Rust and TypeScript
  • Community skills: grouped by topic, such as vector databases
  • A path table: where project and global skills live for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Windsurf and Antigravity
  • Quality criteria: guidance on descriptions, progressive disclosure, scoped tools and avoiding absolute paths

Works with

The entries use the open SKILL.md format. The README names Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode and Windsurf, and gives each one's install path.

How to install

There is nothing to install. Browse the list on GitHub or officialskills.sh, then follow each skill's own instructions, or copy its folder into your agent's skills directory using the path table.

Maintenance and safety

MIT licensed and updated often. The maintainers now prefer skills that are already widely used over brand-new submissions. The README says clearly that entries are curated, not audited. It warns that skills can contain prompt injection, tool poisoning or hidden payloads, and it links scanners to check them. The README also carries sponsor placements for several commercial tools.

Who should use it

Anyone looking for an official skill for a framework or service they already use, or developers who want a trusted starting point before searching wider marketplaces. Check each skill's source before installing it.
